Metal Technology

What do you learn?

It’s all about the processing and manufacturing of various metals – from producing individual components to assembling entire machines and systems. You learn how materials such as metal or plastic are shaped into semi-finished and finished products, operate modern CNC machines, programme and control automated production systems, replace defective parts, and manufacture spare parts yourself.

Apprenticeship Duration and School

The apprenticeship as a metal technician lasts a total of three and a half years and concludes with a final apprenticeship examination.
Vocational school takes place once a week during the apprenticeship and is located in Bludenz.

2nd year of apprenticeship: 1,295.40 Euro | 18+: 1,596.26 Euro
3rd year of apprenticeship: 1,657.50 Euro | 18+: 1,949.22 Euro
4th year of apprenticeship: 2,152.20 Euro | 18+: 2,255.72 Euro
