Magdalena Nesler took her first step at Getzner Textil as a visitor on a tour of the company with her school. Around ten years later, this has become a shared path - and fabric is no longer just "fabric" for Magdalena.

Employees of the family-owned company collected almost 25,000 euros for people in need in Turkey and Syria - Getzner Textil doubled the amount.

On February 1, 2023, an open day was held at the Getzner company housing complex Klarenbrunn in Bludenz for all interested parties: Getzner Holding opened 61 energy-efficient apartments during a press conference. Two selected apartments were presented to the visitors and insights into the infrastructure as well as the outdoor area were given. Around twelve million euros were invested, therefore completion was ahead of the originally planned date of Easter 2023.

On Thursday, January 19, 2023, the apprentice team of the Vorarlberg fabric specialist invited to the traditional New Year's reception of the apprentices. Numerous guests, including the families of the apprentices, enjoyed a menu cooked by the apprentices themselves.

A chapter has been added to a success story: the Vorarlberg family business was awarded the title of "Best Apprenticeship Company" by Federal Minister Martin Kocher in Vienna on September 28, 2022.

In May of this year, a "Soirée Autrichienne" took place at the Hotel Terrou-Bi in Dakar, the capital of Senegal. An important part of this "Austrian Evening" - designed and planned by the Austrian Embassy - was, among other things, a special fashion show sponsored by Getzner Textil.

The Getzner Textil Group reports sales of 416 million euros for the past fiscal year - an increase of 4.8 percent compared to 2020.

Getzner Textil AG was awarded the ISO 50001 certification by TÜV Austria - a globally valid standard that supports organizations and companies in establishing systematic energy management. This certification ensures that energy efficiency is increased in a targeted manner throughout the company and that potential savings are identified or appropriate measures are taken.

Getzner Textil has once again been awarded the "Excellent Family-Friendly Company" seal of quality.

Getzner Textil is cooperating with local beekeeper “Ländle Imker” and will be sponsor-ing honey bees from now onwards. The hives are already in situ on Getzner’s own flow-er meadow in Gerberstrasse.

With the new maternity and paediatric’s ward, the approximately 45,000 people living in Siribala finally have access to safe, hygienic and easily accessible health care. Above all, the project creates direct access to gynaecological care, obstetrics and paediatric care for the approximately 18,000 women and children.
