Acoustic textiles for rooms with character.

The event space at the Bludenz Health Campus serves multiple purposes – from meetings and lectures to yoga sessions. To ensure optimal acoustics in every situation, acoustic textiles from acunic were used."

Before the optimization, strong reverberation made conversations and presentations difficult. The new acoustic elements measurably reduced the reverberation time, improved speech intelligibility, and gave the room a distinctive character. 'For the event space in the attic of the listed historic building, the Gassner Villa, with its exposed timber beams, we were looking for a solution that would blend harmoniously into the overall design,' explains architect Markus Mitiska. 'acunic offers a wide range of textile patterns, textures, and colors in various frame and format options.'

Noticeable improvement in room acoustics

The choice fell on a geometric textile structure that echoes the lines of the timber beams, combined with wooden frames color-matched to the parquet flooring. In addition, acoustic curtains were installed to complement the setup. The result is a harmonious design that also meets the acoustic requirements. Initial feedback confirms the success of this combination: event organizers praise the pleasant acoustics and atmosphere, which suit a wide range of formats – from focused meetings to relaxing yoga sessions. The project demonstrates how acunic® acoustic textiles can enhance spaces both functionally and aesthetically. The planning and implementation were carried out in collaboration with architects Mitiska and Wäger.
