16 new apprentices are starting their apprenticeships at Getzner Textil
To mark the start of the new apprenticeship year, Getzner Textil is welcoming 16 new apprentices to its Bludenz site. A total of 62 young people are currently undertaking apprenticeships in eight different trades, thereby laying the foundations for their future careers.
As one of the oldest training organisations in Vorarlberg, apprenticeship training at Getzner Textil is not only a tradition but, above all, has a bright future. Many of today’s skilled workers and managers began their professional careers here. Alongside sound specialist knowledge, young people gain practical experience at an early stage and take on responsibility in their day-to-day work.
In doing so, they benefit from a wide range of additional opportunities that go beyond their technical training. Further training programmes, bonuses for outstanding performance, team activities and other benefits support them throughout their apprenticeship and foster their personal development.
Apprenticeship Information Day: Experience apprenticeship careers first-hand
Anyone wishing to find out more about the apprenticeship opportunities at Getzner Textil will have the chance to do so at the Apprenticeship Information Day on 13 November 2026. Through guided tours of the training workshops, at information stands and through direct discussions with apprentices and the training team, those interested will gain an insight into the eight apprenticeship trades and what daily life on the training programme is like. No registration is required.
