Hannes Tschofen becomes new Chief Technology Officer

With Hannes Tschofen, an experienced and successful manager from our own ranks has been recruited as the new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for the Getzner Textil Group.

From 1 October 2023, the time has come: Hannes Tschofen joins the Getzner Textil Group's Management Board around CEO Roland Comploj and CFO Martin Frick as the new CTO. He brings with him 24 years of experience in the family-owned company Getzner Textil and, as the previous head of the Technics business unit, is moving to a new management level in the company.

Quality and service

"The new job is an exciting combination," says Hannes Tschofen, looking forward to his new responsibilities as Chief Technology Officer, which include the areas of production, technology, development and quality: "We are a company that is very successful and wants to continue to grow healthily - accordingly, there is a lot to do. In addition to expanding our innovation leadership, a key issue is optimisation in the areas of quality and service."

Employees as a success factor

Tschofen has 24 years of experience in sales and technology. He thus brings a perspective that not only focuses more on the customer, but also on the product and the employees. "What is special about Getzner is that we are a family business and have not lost our family character," says Tschofen, explaining in particular that the company's core success is its approximately 1,500 employees.

Short vita Hannes Tschofen

Hannes Tschofen has been part of Getzner Textil AG since 1999. Before moving to "Business Development and Innovation Management", he was Head of Finishing. From 2014, Hannes Tschofen played a key role in the development of the Technics Business Unit (BU). In 2016, he took over the position as Sales Manager of the Business Unit and was appointed to the Executive Board as Head of the Unit in 2019. In 2023, Hannes Tschofen not only became a member of the management of TFE Textil GmbH, but also successfully completed his part-time studies in strategy and leadership.
