High-quality cable coverings for use in the automotive area

Our support fabrics are used in the automotive area for high-quality cable coverings. They increase performance and minimise wear and tear, thereby contributing to wire harness system safety.

These technical solutions are complex and nearly always customer-specific customised developments. This is exactly where our special strength lies: We have many years of experience in finding solutions for challenging requirements.

Thanks to the size of our group of companies, we can call on an extensive range of specialists and state-of-the-art infrastructure. We collaborate with our customers to develop optimum textile solutions for them that make an important contribution to their success.

Eco-friendly efficiency

With our state-of-the-art finishing machines, we are capable of treating lengths of up to 250 cm width in a highly efficient way. Environmental protection is extremely important to us. The water used in our processes is ultrafiltered after use, and all discharged air is biologically treated with a biofilter to ensure that both fall below the legally defined thresholds.

Quality, safety and reliability

We regularly undergo external audits and inspections in order to get an objective opinion of our expertise. The certificates held by our sites are the best proof that we keep what we promise. 

Our certification to ISO 9001:2015 standard guarantees that the services we offer are of a consistently high quality, the safety of our processes and our reliability. Our sample production and quality assurance processes are guided by the IATF 16949 standard.

We are highly aware of our responsibility for the environment and explicitly ensure that we meet this responsibility in all of our activities. We already successfully gained our ÖKOPROFIT® certificate in 2006. In 2020, TFE was awarded the silver medal by EcoVadis for its outstanding performance in the areas of sustainability and corporate social responsibility. In the overall rating, our company is among the top 11 percent of the companies assessed by EcoVadis.
