As a textile chemist, you work with natural and synthetic textile fibres. You dye, bleach, and finish – from the yarn to the finished fabric. Using various techniques, you apply colour and function to textiles.
You will be trained to become a master of your craft. Soon, you’ll operate and manage state-of-the-art equipment, control and measuring devices, prepare solutions and dye baths, and oversee the entire finishing process.
