Textile acoustics solutions: New interior design possibilities
Getzner Textil’s sound absorbing acoustic fabrics represent the perfect symbiosis between design, workability and functionality, and guarantee a noise reduction of up to 90 percent.
Due to their open surface texture and unusual density, acoustic fabrics are considerably more suitable, particularly for sophisticated interior design solutions, than comparable elements made of wood, plastic or other materials. The functional “acunic” fabrics are therefore a perfect, uncomplicated solution for archi-tects, interior designers and acousticians even in challenging situations. Due to the innovative weaving technique and the 3D weave, they guarantee a high degree of pliability and permeability.
“acunic makes it possible for architects, interior designers and acousticians to design
complex, sophisticated and highly functional solutions.“
Markus Dannreuther, Sales Manager acunic
Creative all-round solution with excellent sound absorption properties
Whether ceiling clouds, ceiling or wall panels, curtains, partition coverings or also individual elements – the range of possibilities is wide, both in the residential as well as in the commercial and public building area; the sound absorbing effect is always excellent. As it is so easy to work with, acunic is also perfectly suited for use as an upholstery fabric, for example for meeting room solutions or furniture. When stretched across special stretcher bars, the acunic fabrics can even be used as decorative wall elements – similar to a large-scale picture.
Design, functionality and technology
The various geometric, three-dimensional honeycombs and textures of this steadily increasing product family unlock a wide range of design options. Besides the unparalleled design aspects, acunic also offers all kinds of possibilities in the area of light outlets, mountings (e.g. fire alarm mountings), suspended solutions or material joints – nothing therefore prevents an uncomplicated installation. The fabrics are easy to maintain and can even be machine washed at 40 degrees – simply dab the fabric with a damp cloth to remove small stains.
