Nine apprentices of the Vorarlberg textile specialist celebrated their well-deserved apprenticeship graduation this spring.

Obwohl der frisch gebackene Lehre-Staatspreisträger Getzner Textil bereits seit Jahrzehnten eine Vielzahl an Auszubildenden auf ihrem Weg zu hochqualifizierten Fachkräften begleitet hat, sind die jährlichen Lehrabschlussprüfungen doch immer wieder etwas Besonderes. „Wir – also alle Ausbilderinnen und Ausbilder sowie das Team der Lehrverantwortlichen – freuen uns immer sehr auf den Moment, an dem die fleißigen Jugendlichen endlich die verdienten Früchte ihrer Arbeit ernten können. Das Strahlen auf ihren Gesichtern nach den ‚LAPs‘ ist einfach unbezahlbar – da schwingt natürlich auch bei uns jede Menge Stolz mit“, erklärt Perrine Getzner, Leiterin der Lehrlingsausbildung, und schmunzelt.

Outstanding achievements

In the apprenticeships of laboratory technology, metal technology and textile technology, nine apprentices were honoured for their outstanding performance this year - next autumn, the electrical engineers will have their final exams ahead of them. "The excitement is rising, in the truest sense of the word! We are keeping our fingers crossed for the girls and boys, of course," says Perrine Getzner.

Apprentices are the future

It is an open secret that apprenticeship training is of particular importance to the seventh generation of the family-run company from the Alpine town. CEO Roland Comploj did not miss the opportunity to personally congratulate the apprentices and give them each a hammock made of Getzner functional textiles to "hang out and relax".
