Opening of the Getzner Boutique in Lustenau
On Thursday, March 7, 2019, the new boutique of Getzner Textil AG invited to the grand opening and open day in Lustenau.
Numerous guests from business and politics as well as representatives of the traditional Vorarlberg company met in Lustenau to celebrate the opening of the new Getzner boutique and to immerse themselves in the diverse world of African fashion. In about one year of construction, the 1,000 square meter production hall of the former textile company Albert Bösch GmbH has been transformed into modern, representative premises with a special flair. Those present on the evening were just as enthusiastic as the Chairman of the Board of Getzner Textil AG, Roland Comploj, who in his opening speech emphasized the special importance of the boutique for the Bludenz family business as well as for the Business Unit Africa. The guests were particularly impressed by the "African" welcome with drummers, dancers, traditionally dressed models and the Nigerian cocktail "Chapman".
"Continue to strengthen the Getzner brand"
When planning the boutique, Getzner Textil focused primarily on customer satisfaction. "The new 250-square-meter showroom offers optimal conditions for our customers to simply feel at home. Here they can shop with all their senses and also experience expert, individual advice," confirms Nicole Bösch, Managing Director of the Getzner Boutique. The high-quality and diverse product range extends from African damask, embroidery and fine fabrics to exciting prints and special accessories for the West African market. The diverse range of products also convinced the visitors at the open day, who were given exclusive insights behind the scenes by the employees and, as it were, took the opportunity to ask questions. "We benefit daily from the feedback of our customers and use the opportunity to test products and designs for their market suitability. This also gives us a good feeling for what is currently trending, which colors or patterns are currently trendy and what is not well received at all. This helps us to continue strengthening the Getzner brand," adds the Managing Director.
Special service and optimum comfort
Since the boutique first opened its doors on November 27, 2018, customers - a colorful mix of Europeans, Africans, but also Americans with African roots - have been simply thrilled with the new premises. They especially appreciate the outstanding service they receive from the 19 knowledgeable staff members at the location, who are primarily involved in selling the extremely popular African damask. Optimal comfort is provided by a modern lounge area, small meeting niches where purchases can be discussed with the sales staff, and a state-of-the-art secure payment area that guarantees discreet payment processing.
Steigerung der Kundenerreichbarkeit
As the second pillar of the extremely successful Africa business unit, the boutique also brings with it a welcome increase in customer accessibility. "Especially customers who only need relatively small quantities of African damask (e.g. 30, 100 or even 1000 running metres) can now be actively served in Lustenau. This helps us a lot to reach also smaller African, but also European customers with our high-quality fabrics, to increase market coverage and thus to achieve a clear added value," informs Wolfgang Kunze, Managing Director BU Africa of Getzner Textil AG.
