To celebrate the end of the successful 2022 apprenticeship year in a fitting manner and to toast to the new, they finally met again for the popular New Year's event at the company premises of the family-owned company in the Alpine town after a three-year break due to the pandemic. The parents of the young people were also on hand again and took advantage of the relaxed atmosphere to exchange ideas with the apprenticeship supervisors and the training team.

Apprentices swing the wooden spoons every year

For this special occasion, the junior staff cooked up big again this year: With a five-course menu prepared especially for this occasion under the professional guidance of Gordana Podgorac, Head of F&B Catering at Montforthaus Feldkirch, the apprentices won over the hearts and palates of everyone present. The festive setting was enjoyed not only by relatives and apprenticeship supervisors, but also by Getzner Textil CEO Roland Comploj and CTO Rolf Gottmann, as well as Managing Director of Getzner-Holding Markus Comploj, but also by State Secretary Claudia Plakolm, Provincial Councillor Marco Tittler and Bludenz Mayor Simon Tschann. The cabaret program "Fäschta" by Markus Lins and Manfred Kräutler provided great laughter and an exuberant atmosphere.

Finally celebrating again!

"The secret of ability lies in wanting! Our trainees once again impressively proved that this quote is true. From the shopping list to the correct calculation to the finished menu, they worked out all the associated activities themselves and finally prepared the dishes with confidence. This gave them the opportunity to thank their parents and the training team for always being there for them - the joy was great," informs Perrine Getzner, head of apprenticeship training. True to the motto " Finally celebrating again!" the focus at this year's New Year's reception was also on exuberance after the corona-induced dry spell. "We are of course proud of our budding professionals and are very pleased that they were finally able to celebrate extensively again. They more than deserve it after the challenging time they have mastered with flying colors."
