Getzner Textil awarded "salvus gold" again

Every two years, Vorarlberg companies that make a special contribution to the health of their employees are awarded the "salvus" health seal of approval. At the award ceremony on Wednesday, March 27, Regional Health Councillor Christian Bernhard, VGKK Vice Chairman Dr. Christoph Jenny, Chamber of Labor President Hubert Hämmerle and Hans-Peter Metzler, President of the Vorarlberg Chamber of Commerce, also congratulated Getzner Textil on the certification. This is the fourth time that the textile specialist from Bludenz has received the coveted "salvus Gold" seal of quality.

BASA employee survey

One of the focal points of Getzner Textil's health policy since 2017 has been the BASA employee survey and the resulting successful measures as well as accents. The family-owned company is very pleased about the renewed award: "The golden seal of approval is a special recognition and confirmation that workplace health promotion is actively practiced at our company," says Ingrid Duwe, head of the health team at Getzner Textil AG.

Focus on people and health

The health team at Getzner Textil AG has set itself the task of maintaining and actively promoting the health of its employees. Employee consultation and participation is just as important here as, for example, employee surveys, regular inspections of workplaces, but also analyses of health rates. The focus is on recording classic workloads, such as noise or physically stressful activities, as well as evaluating mental stress and assessing social support.

The measures implemented are aimed at improving working conditions on the one hand, and optimizing the individual health behavior of employees on the other. During the course of the year, contemporary actions, such as ergonomics projects (in cooperation with a physiotherapist), are offered again and again, which are aimed directly at the employees at their workplace.
