At Milano Unica 2025, Getzner Textil AG will present enhancements to its white and black shirting fabrics — delivering qualities that stand out in the market thanks to increased durability and improved visual brilliance.

For 20 years, Getzner Textil has been part of ECOPROFIT – the most widely adopted environmental and climate management system in Vorarlberg.
The certification stands for systematic environmental protection in business: practical, efficient, and future-oriented. For Getzner Textil, it reflects a deeply rooted environmental awareness and a strong sense of responsibility toward the region and the environment.

In April, apprentices from Getzner Textil AG swapped their tools for shovels and seedlings: on company-owned forest land in Nenzing, they planted 400 climate-resilient trees.

At Getzner Textil, employees now turn to tablets for maintenance and repairs. By switching its maintenance processes to SAP, the company is laying the foundation for efficient work directly at the machine.

In a company as large as Getzner Textil, there is always something to be modernised, renovated or expanded. One person who has been involved in many such major projects is Martin Zech. The joint history of Martin and Getzner Textil began over 25 years ago, ten years of which he was Head of Technical Services.

The traditional New Year's reception for apprentices at Getzner Textil took place at the end of January. Parents and guests of honour were invited to a ‘magical evening’ - including a magic show and a three-course meal. 

Silke Wachter was self-employed as a florist for 17 years, then swapped her business for a whole flock of children and now runs Getzner's childcare centres ‘Buntspechtle’ and ‘Buntstiftle’.

Due to the reduced volume requirements and the cost structure in Switzerland, Getzner is considering the closure of its Swiss site.
